Durham Education Business Partnership (DEBP)
Durham Education Business Partnership was developed to ensure that the Department for Education’s (DFE) aims are met.
The DFE aims to provide all young people with a wide range of high quality, relevant, structured experiences of work throughout their school careers. These experiences will help raise standards of achievement, increase motivation and attendance, develop key skills and attitudes, and prepare young people more effectively for adult and working life.
The Teaching Agency (TA) is the national agency and recognised sector body responsible for the training and development of the school workforce.
If you are interested in going into teaching then the TA has the following information on their website:
- Teacher training options
- Funding for teacher training
- Teacher salaries
- School experience
- Life as a teacher
