Durham Local Authority
Durham Secondary Applied SCITT has very close links with the Local Authority. Several of our trainers are employed by the local authority and as such have a broad knowledge and understanding of the education system and how it is changing.
Durham Education Business Partnership (DEBP)
Durham Education Business Partnership was developed to ensure that the Department for Education’s (DFE) aims are met.
The DFE aims to provide all young people with a wide range of high quality, relevant, structured experiences of work throughout their school careers. These experiences will help raise standards of achievement, increase motivation and attendance, develop key skills and attitudes, and prepare young people more effectively for adult and working life.

The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) is the national agency and recognised sector body responsible for the training and development of the school workforce.
